Delicious breakfast cooked by Chef Gladys, including her famous biscuits and tasty sausage served at the dining area 🍳. The building and rooms are gorgeous and located right by the water.

We had a very special stay on our 3100 miles road trip.
The hotel was located near the ferry landing and shops and restaurants and the center of town. It was in a remote location, still on the outer banks. Ate at Flying Melon, it's just a short walk away from the venue. Truly enjoyed our rooms on the water. The staff were outstandingly accommodating and amiable and were always there to help.

The accommodation at The Castle B&B on Silver Lake was lovely, and the setting was beautiful. The B&B is situated near Buxton, restaurants, cafes, bars, and the harbor. The breakfast selection was awesome and had a very good variety, including delicious bacon. The rooms by the water offered a great view and added a special touch to the stay.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. From the warm welcome to the cozy living area and rooftop terrace overlooking the lake, everything was perfect. The staff were wonderful and provided us with a comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel facilities were beautiful, with a lot of wood accents that added to the charm. The breakfast they served was a feast and absolutely delicious. They even provided bikes for us to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The location of the B&B is perfect, right in the center of the village and within walking distance of everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome and making you feel at home. The breakfast served is delicious and homemade, with a variety of options each morning. The rooms are comfortable, with cozy beds and well-maintained facilities.
Some guests mentioned that noise could be an issue, with sound easily heard from neighboring rooms and the air conditioning unit being a bit noisy.

As a budget traveler, I really appreciated the helpfulness of the property's staff in navigating bridge closings and detours. The accommodations were awesome, with a fascinating history and perfect location. The host provided great recommendations for dining and sightseeing. The breakfast spread was amazing, and the staff was super friendly. The outdoor spaces, like the widows walk, offered lovely places to relax and enjoy wine and cheese. The onsite spa gave one of the best massages we've ever had. Bikes were also provided, adding to the overall value of our experience. We definitely plan to return for a longer visit next time.
Felt secure, no complaints.
